1. Definitions
In this agreement, "Moteregna" means the digital platform that connects users with delivery drivers. "Sender" means the person requesting package pickup. "Receiver" means the person accepting the package at destination. "Driver" means the transport partner using a motorbike for delivery.
2. Service Scope
Moteregna provides logistics coordination for moving permitted packages and delivery-related information from one place to another. Moteregna does not operate as a bank, remittance service, escrow service, postal authority, insurance company, or warehouse.
The platform arranges pickup, route assignment, and delivery tracking based on available drivers and operational conditions.
3. Eligibility and User Duties
- Users must provide true and current account details.
- Users must provide reachable phone numbers for coordination.
- Users must avoid abusive, threatening, or fraudulent behavior.
- Users are responsible for all requests submitted through their account.
4. Pickup and Delivery Information
For successful delivery, sender must provide:
- Accurate pickup address and drop-off address.
- Receiver full name and active contact number.
- Package category, quantity, and handling instructions.
- Special instructions such as gate code or landmark.
Incorrect or incomplete information may cause delays, cancellation, additional cost, or failed delivery.
5. Package Standards
- Items must be packed safely for motorbike transport.
- Fragile items must be clearly marked and securely protected.
- Sender must disclose if item requires temperature control, upright orientation, or careful handling.
- Undeclared high-value items are sent at sender's own risk.
6. Prohibited Items
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Cash, currency bundles, checks, or cash-equivalent vouchers.
- Illegal drugs, weapons, explosives, or hazardous chemicals.
- Counterfeit products or stolen goods.
- Any item prohibited by local law or regulation.
Moteregna may refuse, cancel, or report prohibited deliveries to relevant authorities when required.
7. No Money Transfer Responsibility
Moteregna and its drivers are not authorized money couriers. The platform provides package transportation only.
- No guarantee is provided for cash or financial assets.
- Moteregna bears no liability for money loss, theft, delay, or non-delivery.
- Any instruction to transfer funds through a driver is outside service scope and voids related claims.
8. Fees and Payments
Delivery fees are calculated using distance, location, and service conditions. Applicable charges are shown before order confirmation whenever technically available.
- Users must pay approved delivery charges.
- Extra waiting time may result in additional charges.
- Fraudulent payment activity may cause account suspension.
9. Timing, Delays, and Force Majeure
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, road closures, public emergencies, civil events, mechanical issues, or communication outages.
Moteregna is not liable for delay caused by factors outside reasonable operational control.
10. Proof of Delivery
- Delivery may be confirmed by receiver signature, one-time code, call confirmation, or in-app status update.
- If receiver is unavailable, sender instructions will guide next step when possible.
- Safe-drop requests are executed at sender risk where permitted.
11. Cancellations and Refunds
- Orders may be canceled before pickup subject to platform rules.
- After pickup, cancellation may be restricted or partially chargeable.
- Refund decisions depend on order status and investigation result.
12. Liability Limits
Moteregna is an intermediary platform and not the owner of goods being transported. To the maximum extent permitted by law, total platform liability for approved claims is limited to direct delivery charges paid for the relevant order.
Moteregna is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
13. Claims and Dispute Process
- Users should report issues quickly through official support channels.
- Claims must include order ID, sender/receiver details, and issue description.
- Investigation outcomes depend on available evidence and system records.
14. Privacy and Data Use
Moteregna processes limited personal and location data to provide pickup, routing, support, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. By using the app, users consent to necessary operational data use as described in platform policies.
15. Policy Changes
Moteregna may update this agreement to reflect service changes, legal requirements, and operational needs. Updated terms become effective from the published effective date.
